Theater Statement

As an artist, I am at a constant joy to seek new experiences and knowledge of what theater brings to the world. Through my encounters in theater and working with creatives, I have discovered everyone’s role as a storyteller. Everyone serves a purpose which is needed in production and beyond. Due to this observation and feeling, I recognize the importance of communication and leadership qualities as a creative tackling new ideas and compromising your own with your peers. The professionalism you maintain through a stressful setting is one that I enjoy the most, while also standing up for your work is important to me. The power of storytellers is in our hands, we can create new languages, and stories through language with props, playwriting, or a light. Curiosity won’t kill the cat because everyone is the cat, we all are always learning from each other. That’s the beauty of theater and my philosophy behind it.
